Big Bend Retreat, Inc. is a private 70-bed facility offering Intermediate Care (ICF), Residential Care (RCF), and Adult Day Care. The home was opened in 1968 to provide pleasant and safe accommodations and nursing care or help with activities of daily living for those that can no longer remain in their homes. The non-certified, private pay home accepts long-term care insurance and participates in the “cash grant” program offered through the state of Missouri.
The motto of “Caring From the Heart” is carried out by a staff of 55-60 full and part time employees, 6 of which have been employed over 25 years, 14 over 10 years, and 25 for over 1 year. This staff of exceptional longevity in this industry gives care second to none. The home itself is a one story, well maintained building located in a residential area.
